Let's talk tables & how to adjust them for mobile

ElizabethRose -- Mon, 02/23/2015 - 10:30am

Ah, tables. We're all familiar with them, but we may not be familiar with their intended purpose on the web.

Before we keep going, let's get one thing clear: tables are for sets of data. They should not be used to manipulate layout on a page. Like we've mentioned before, there are web accessibility standards and we have to be compliant across all of our websites.

3 Steps to Improve Accessibility

ElizabethRose -- Mon, 01/26/2015 - 10:53am

A New Way To Link PDF Documents

sashar -- Wed, 11/19/2014 - 4:41pm

Web Ambassadors rejoice! Links to PDF documents can now be added from the Page Edit tab.

Veteran Web Ambassadors learned to link to a document using the old method: upload the file, click on a link, click on another link, copy the document's URL from the address bar, THEN go into the Edit tab of a web page, click the hyperlink icon, and paste the document's URL into the Link window. Whew! Not exactly intuitive or convenient.

Thanks to a new feature in Ragin' CMS, this process has been streamlined.
