Website Launch Analytics

Nov. 7 - Dec. 7, 2022

The new website has been live for a little over a month. Initial feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the launch went off without a hitch.

We thought you all might be interested in how the site has performed over the last month.

The following data analyzes the new website's performance between November 7 and December 7 with the same time period last year. This ensures that the metrics analyzed are in the same enrollment phase and takes the holidays into account.

The new site is coming soon!

AimeeBullinger -- Wed, 10/12/2022 - 10:44am

The new Lousiana.edu is nearly ready to launch! We know it’s been a long time coming and we appreciate all of the support and insights our web ambassadors have shared over the last three years.

We hope to launch the main website in November. Once it is live, we will be finishing up the design and build-out of all secondary website templates that will be used on all of the subsites (that’s you). Then we will begin working our way down the list of 150+ University sites. A preliminary timeline has been drafted if you are curious.

The wonderful world of the content calendar

AimeeBullinger -- Tue, 12/03/2019 - 3:48pm

You’re busy. There’s too much to be done and not enough hours in the day. We get it. And we feel your pain.

Creating web content has been added to your plate on top of everything else you do. It may seem like too much or feel out of your comfort zone. We get that too.

You may be wondering what to post, when to post, and when you’re going to get it all done.

Luckily, we have a handy dandy tool that can help.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the content calendar.

Using tags to get more out of calendar events

ElizabethRose -- Thu, 10/10/2019 - 3:04pm

Thanks to web ambassador Cheryl in the Office of Campus Diversity for suggesting this topic!

We're so excited to see that our web ambassadors have really embraced the new calendar. Having an active calendar is an important tool for student recruitment and student involvement, and you all are doing an excellent job keeping it full!
